Karmuazine is a quartet from Saint Petersburg. Their music encompasses a variety of modern styles, the foundation appearing to be comprised of trip-hop and soul. It’s a painting from life, recalling memories – at times warm and pleasant, and at other times, bizarrely grotesque. These are violin passages beneath the buzzing of synths, a steady beat from a drum machine, in sync with your steps through the city night. A solitary piano in an empty bar, the soft voice, telling stories about time and people.
Recently the group release a new album, Between the Lines (LP), date of release: January 19, 2016.
